Minimum Attendance Required Not Met

What Does Minimum Attendance Mean?

Each session of a virtual conference, or a single session training has what is called a "threshold" that must be met for an attendee to earn credit for that session. This means that you must be logged into the event for a specific amount of time to be eligible for CE credit. If you do not meet this threshold, you will be unable to access the Evaluation or obtain a CE certificate for this training.

On the day of your virtual training, you can check the attendance "threshold" via your Attendee Dashboard. Once the event has started, you will see a red Session in Progress indicator next to that session. By hovering your cursor over this icon it will show you the % of total time you must stay in the session to earn credit.

Note: Attendees are encouraged to attend events for the entire time scheduled.

Why Am I Seeing This Message?

Most attendees see this message on their Attendee Dashboard if they miss part of the training and fall below the specified attendance threshold, or if they do not attend the event at all.

How Can I Avoid This?

Attendance is tracked for attendees based on the individual link they receive at registration. In each registration email, you will receive a personalized Attendee Dashboard that grants you direct access to the training and any session materials. By joining the Zoom call through your Attendee Dashboard it signals your presenter and the system that you are in attendance and your time logged in can be checked to ensure you reach the threshold. Hence, it is important to attend your training sessions via your personalized link.

Note: If you join the Zoom via phone number or a separate account, this will not track your attendance.

What If This Is An Error?

Again, some common reasons why you could have received this message by error:

  • Logged into Zoom with a different email address, from the one you used to register for the event
  • Logged into Zoom with a phone number instead of an email
  • Joined a colleague and watched from a shared screen (*we recommend against this as it will only show attendance records for the attendee that logged into the session)

If you did attend the virtual training and believe that you've received this message in error, please reach out to CE-Go at support@ce-go.com and we can look into it.
